Looking Back#
Looking back at 2024, joy and pain coexist.
In terms of academic subjects, I achieved unexpected results, ranking first in the county for both the first and second semester exams in my freshman year. Reflecting on that time, it didn't seem overly competitive; perhaps I truly found my interest in learning.
At the beginning of the second semester of my sophomore year, I participated in a math competition just to test the waters, and unexpectedly, I achieved good results. I was the only one in my department to surpass the initial score line in the preliminary round, and then I won a provincial second prize in the league, which was also unexpected.
Not long after testing my math skills, I started preparing for OI. Everything about OI has already been reminisced in "Retirement Memoirs." However, I still feel deep regret for not achieving a first prize. But as the comments say:
Perhaps having experienced it is the best award.
How can life be without regrets?
Looking Ahead#
Looking forward to 2025, filled with hope.
2025 will also be the year I advance to my senior year. I hope to maintain such academic performance.
In the near term, I hope to achieve good results in the final exams of my sophomore year!
Some classmates in my class have taken long leaves due to mental health issues, which reminds me to adjust my mindset promptly.
I hope to gain more knowledge in technology and improve my literary quality, writing better articles.
